AHMEDABAD: The four-member review committee for IIMs will visit the IIM-Ahmedabad campus on April 25 to discuss the fee hike issue.
The committee, headed by RC Bhargava, is expected to spend the whole day at the campus, looking into matters like determination of fee, corpus and admission process. It is the first review committee visiting the campus after 1992.
"The committee has an 11-point term of reference, including issues like fees, vision, mission, objective, admission process and corpus," said IIM-A director SK Barua.
"The committee will visit all the other IIMs as well. Before they visit Ahmedabad, the committee has visited IIM-Bangalore. It will be meeting staff members, members of the board and the director," said Barua. The committee will then present its report with their recommendations to the Union HRD ministry. The last review committee visited the campus in 1992 and was headed by Verghese Kurien."
